J'ai toujours trouvé qu'il y avait beaucoup d'émotions dans cet album. Et l'onirisme est même à son paroxymse avec les 18 minutes de "Awaken". Ce titre une merveille. L'une des dernières merveilles de Yes peut-être, même si en 77, rien était écrit, on peut néanmoins ressentir la fin d'une ère, notamment avec "Turn Of The Century".

Quoi de neuf? Et bien c'est un peu les vacances. Je passe en réalité beaucoup de temps sur ma batterie, à la recherche du meilleur son possible pour l'album. Beaucoup de temps à régler cet instrument, la chaleur n'arrangeant vraiment pas les choses. Ensuite, je travaille sur le mixage de la batterie, d'ailleurs je suis passé de 8 à 7 pistes pour la batterie. Qui sait, peut-être qu'un jour, lorsque je posséderai cette magnifique batterie Green Burst, j'en viendrai à enregistrer à l'ancienne avec uniquement trois bons micros. J'y pense.

A côté de ça, je suis en train de redéfinir complètement mon son de guitare. Je repars à zéro. Marre du numérique si vous voyez ce que je veux dire. Bien entendu, je continue à utiliser l'informatique et je serai donc toujours dans un monde numérique pour en ce qui concerne la qualité, je reviens aux sources, depuis le temps que je le souhaite, et je compte investir dans un ampli et ce, pour ce premier album. Je pense avoir trouvé le modèle de mes rêves chez Fender, une marque qui m'a toujours inspiré le rêve en terme d'ampli. Donc voilà...
Guitares > Pedalboard > Ampli à lampes, le tout repris par un micro SMS57 dans le Joemeek. C'est une chaîne complètement plus cohérente vu le style et l'état d'esprit du projet et je ne comprends pas pourquoi j'ai réussi à passer à côté depuis tout ce temps.

J'ai reçu aujourd'hui une première pédale d'overdrive qui a bonne réputation aux USA pour son rapport qualit/prix, à savoir la Digitech Bad Monkey. Peu de gain, façon TS9 d'Ibanez, mais alors pour booster ma Big Muff, c'est absolument génial. Je m'approche du son que je recherche (un mix entre The Mars Volta et Mike Oldfield disons) même si je n'ai toujours pas l'ampli et que j'utilise provisoirement une simulation "Black Face" de mon pream J-Station.

Bref, après 13 ans de guitares, voilà enfin un tournant intéressant car je commençais un peu à stagner et à me perdre niveau son. L'informatique lié à la guitare n'étant foncièrement pas mon truc. A suivre donc :)

Hi everyone,

Today has been brighter not because of the sun, not because of the world cup, but because of the arrival of the so much awaited brand new acoustic guitar. And what a great feeling to open the box and see this really good hardcase, protecting the beautiful chinese 6 strings. It seems to me quite light to carry and the finition is really good. What about the sound? Well, it's just that I never had an acoustic guitar before. The sound is pure, wide, warm and bright and the neck is easy to play for me who played on cheap acoustic guitar. A real pleasure! I can't wait to record the acoustic parts for the Magmor's album ;)

Il y a de ces albums qui resteront à jamais des petites perles personnelles pour de nombreuses raisons. J'ai découvert ce premier album d'Enchant à une période un peu délicate, il y a quelques années, plus de 6 ans maintenant que j'y pense... J'ai découvert cet album seul, sans aucune influence extérieure et je crois que c'est aussi ce qui fait que je l'aime tant. C'est le premier album d'Enchant et pour moi leur seul chef d'oeuvre, je n'ai jamais retrouvé ces émotions chez eux par la suite. Malheureusement. La chanson dont j'ai cité les paroles ci-dessus reflète bien l'album. C'est très rythmé et en même temps très émotionnel. En fait, je trouve cette musique très intellectuelle mais en même temps profondément "sentimentale". Il y a 6 ans, je ne comprenais que peu ces paroles. Aujourd'hui, j'ai l'impression de les comprendre presque parfaitement. J'admire ce genre d'êtres capables de jouer une telle musique. Ca me touche énormément et m'aide à comprendre certaines choses. "Just a nomad searching for life"...

Enfin bref, je ne suis pas sûr que des paroles vieilles de 37 ans intéressent grand monde :)

Ca non plus mais ça me fait plaisir d'en parler, oui j'ai reçu les deux t-shirts Magmor que j'avais commandé et j'en suis ravi :) quoi de plus égocentrique que de porter le t-shirt de son propre projet musical :D Vous pouvez donc voir ce que ça donne sur cett photo à gauche ;) il s'agit de ce modèle.

Voilà, sinon à part créer des t-shirts, je travaille en ce moment sur le final de "A Kind Of Heaven" et je suis en train de réécrire certains textes, notamment son dernier couplet, que je n'avais jamais vraiment aimé, qui n'avait pas vraiment de sens, de prime abord. Je suis content d'avoir trouver les mots pour exprimer ce que je pensais à l'instant X et qui renvoie à d'autres parties de l'album. Ah oui, du bodhran aussi... Des percussions...

J'attends impatiemment ma guitare acoustique et ma SG Junior... Je pense que ces deux éléments vont apporter beaucoup, vraiment beaucoup, sachant que la guitare acoustique détient une place primordiale dans cette aventure. D'ailleurs, elle représente un peu pour moi le côté "organique" de la musique, le côté naturel et humain. L'essence des bois reflétant l'essence des émotions qu'il s'agit d'essayer de véhiculer... D'essayer...

Une petite entrée en français pour changer un peu. Donc voilà, ceux qui ont un peu suivi tout ça sur le forum sont au courant mais j'ai créé de nouveaux t-shirts pour Magmor, il commence à en y avoir pour tous les goûts je crois... Enfin j'espère... Et justement, la réalisation de l'album se poursuit doucement, je travaille sur différents arrangements, en attendant d'avoir les instruments qui me manquent (principalement la guitare acoustique, car je souhaiterais enregistrer toutes les parties acoustiques le plus vite possible). Donc ça avance... Je travaille également certaines parties rythmiques avec les bouts de baguettes qui me restent, en les fixant avec du ruban adhésif, c'est roots, ça donne des ampoules, c'est à l'anciennce :D

I have just received my hard drive today. It's an external Western Digital of 160 Go for the backup of my studio computer. As you can imagine, it's very more reassuring to save what I record here and there ;)

And I ordered as well some nice dvds:
- Brave movie from Marillion: I just watched the making of and it was great, short but so great.
- ELP From the Beginning: Incredible! Those guys were incredible (They are not dead but... it's all about the past isn't it? Even if I'd like to hear a new very progressive and complex ELP new album :)). A lot of stuffs in this. Not watched yet.
- Ring 2 movie. I'm a huge fan of the first. Never seen the second one, I hope it will be good, anyway, I really like Naomi Watts ;)

Some of you may recognize the bridge at the left... I'm sure you will...

Hi everyone,

I have received today a fantastic cd order as you judge by yourself:
- Still Life by Van Der Graaf Generator
- Hergest Ridge by Mike Oldfield
- Ommadawn by Mike Oldfield
- Incantations by Mike Oldfield

Those albums are fantastic and really inspiring! The three Oldfield's ones really represent brand new horizon musically because no one does this kind of music istn't it (well if you know an artist similar to Oldfield, let me know ;))

And what about musical gear? Well, I finally will order my acoustic guitar this month. I really wait for it as I have to record a lof of acoustic parts for my album. Day after day, I become nearly sure that I will search for a spanish guitar. I begun the guitar on a spanish one and I love this sound. Because I had ideas about recording some spanish guitar solos here and there in my songs.

I recorded some stuffs today but I wasn't really into it. But I have some ideas to realize. Oh yes, the derbouka works very well in one of my songs. It's actually the sole good news about recording for today. But it's better than nothing, isn't it?

I'm not sure that you know the Jim Reed italian guitar brand but anyway. You just have to know that it has nothing to do with Jim Harley ;) even if the logo is not really better...

Anyway, GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome as we call that among the geeks) happens again. This time, I'm really into SG guitars, the crimson red ones. So I naturally thought of Jimr Reed. It's a project for later and I keep this model in mind (picture in the left). And with P90 to change from what I already know.

First of all, I'm happy to announce you the launch of the 6th version of Magmor's website. I hope you will like it as I do. It would be great if you could leave me some comments.

I'm quite satisfied with this website because I came back to the roots of what I did before but in a better way, well I hope so. I try to escape from forests, woods, Nature or celtic mythology but I can't help myself to dive into again.

Nothing to do with Magmor but I had a great new Lord Of The Rings figurine (Orc Captain of Isengard) for a present. Thanks a lot if you read me, it really pleased me.

No, it is not the Finnish Lordi singer :D

I'm thinking of changing the name of my musical project. I wonder if "Magmor" is a good reflection of my music... If you have any idea about this, feel free to share it ;) I love this name because it's original and the meaning can be very huge, taking its roots in the celtic irish mythology. Try Wikipidia and you should understand what I mean ;) But in an other hand, it doesn't say a lot about the music...

Working on the first album

So here I am. I was thinking about recording an acoustic album, easier in a way, faster so but... I can't help myself to play the music I like, isn't it? And I will have the chance to make a "real" album, with artwork cover and stuff, so I really want to offer the music that is really myself if you know what I mean.

So the album will contain 6 tracks and it will last about 50 minutes. And then, acoustic parts will meet atmospheric ones which will meet rock guitars, vintage keyboards, electronic rythms and acoustic drum. Something like that. And I work nearly everyday on it. Everything's getting clearer and clearer and I have new ideas, early in the morning, at my "false" job.

Anyway, I'm very excited about this and I cross my fingers, hoping that everything will take the good path.

If you have any suggestions, feel free to speak ;)

I have worked a lot on the second song of the first album. Well, it was meant to be acoustic but I can't help myself. It will be as I feel it has to be, isn't it? But things have changed somehow. Oh yes, I have received my new master keyboard 88 notes. It's really great! A different feel to play piano and write music, I feel really great about it. I still miss this good quality acoustic guitar and I'll be ok for recording the album ;)

J'ai reçu aujourd'hui un nouveau logiciel: Spectrasonics Stylus RMX, autant dire tout de suite que c'est absolument énorme, tellement énorme que j'ai l'impression que je n'arriverai jamais à le maîtriser un jour.

Pourtant j'ai quand même commencé l'enregistrement de "The Missing Piece" qui sera sur le premier album. J'ai pensé à la track-list hier et je crois bien que les trois premiers morceaux vont se suivre, ce qui donnera l'impression d'une longue suite musicale, ça me plaît bien. Ce premier morceau devrait rester assez acoustique. Pour le reste, je crois que j'ai chassé le naturel trop vite et il revient au galop... A suivre ;)

Opeth - Cleaning up the Refuge - Regret - Fatar

Alternative 4... An emotionnal masterpiece which has always made me drown into the depths of my soul. There are a lot of different kinds of energy and strength in music as you know and we can feel a very strong energy from this album even if it's painfully sad, it's so deep and sincere that you can't feel unchanged. Well, I can't. It's still the words I have in my mind and emotions I have in my heart I guess. Everything in its right place. I love everything on this album, from the absolutely beautiful prelude called "Shroud Of False" to the awkward sound and production, from the lyrics to the Cavanagh's voice to the simplicity of some parts. Everything speak too me. I don't remember when I have bought this opus nor how I dicovered it but it's a real gift, even if it hurts.

Ok some light now because I guess you're about to leave this place ;) I have spent the afternoon cleaning up my home-studio. Listening loudly to Opeth "Still Life" vinyl and first albums of Judas Priest. I know now that we can make tremble even stone walls with music, listen loudly to "The Moor", how it's fantastic.
So it gave me strenght to clean everything, dust is one of the worst enemy in a studio. And I have make some changes to welcome my new toys. I wait for a 88 notes masterkeyboard from Dresden, Germany. The Fatar TMK-88 which will allow me to feel more at ease for composing with piano sounds and I wait for this for a long time. It's funny (I mean it makes me smile but you probably don't find any joke here) but it's like we can't find the end of the keyboard on this picture, I hope that we don't need of 2 meters arms.
Anyway, I'm about to order a fantastic logiciel that I have discovered for rythms because I'll need it for composing as well for my acoustic project. Because I think that I will add some soft electronic beats in it. I need to try. Oh and I think I found a name for this project but I'm doing some search about it as seen as it's not so original but I like the meaning and it's the good reflection of the birth of this "thing".

We can learn on the official website that the drum parts of the new Pain Of Salvation's album had been done. It took only five days, it lets me dreamy.

The recording has been done in a studio in Sweden but not in the Daniel Gildenlöw's one. I hope that some day we'll see some pictures of his den. It makes me thing that I have to change some stuffs in my own studio, in order to work and compose easily, and feel at ease... It's the least that I can do those days seen as I'm ill. I hope it won't last too long. I can't breath. I miss her.

Je ne peux m'empêcher d'en parler car hier était un jour historique mais peu de gens le savent ;) Aux alentours de 22h, le terme le terme de "rock progressif" a été employé sur M6, premier exploit, et second exploit, dans "la Nouvelle Star". Enfin second exploit, quand on sait la présence du grand Manu Katché, il ne faut pas s'étonner, rappelons qu'il a notamment joué sur des albums de Peter Gabriel, Tori Amos, Joe Satriani ou Tears For Fears et même le dernier Genesis (Edit: N'importe quoi! Petit absence de ma part, j'ai confondu avec Nick D'Virgilio mais c'était pour voir si vous suiviez ;)). Bref, on pouvait s'attendre à ce que cela vienne de lui puisqu'on note quand même une tendance bien heureuse de sa part à essayer de parler de ce qui n'est pas forcément grand public. Et donc, il a abordé le truc par rapport à une reprise d'une cadidate, "Bohemian Rhapsody" de Queen. Il fallait oser me direz-vous. Ca a plu à Manu Katché qui disait avoir aimé la grandiloquence et le côté théâtral du truc comme dans "ce qu'on appelle le rock progressif avec des groupes comme Genesis". Et voilà, un pas de plus est franchi :) Ca n'a aucune valeur pour le commun des mortels mais ça m'a fait plaisir mais si je ne rêve pas de voir passer Marillion dans le Hit Machine, entendons-nous bien.

I have watched some excerpts of the James Blunt's dvd. I confess that what he does speaks to me somehow. Even if his songs are on heavy rotation everywhere. "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree"? Vous connaissez j'en suis sûr... Et bien regardez un peu cette vidéo de l'écossaise Kt Tunstall, c'est du grand art, la grande classe! J'avoue ne pas savoir ce que vaut l'album, j'ai certes quelques doutes mais je trouve néanmoins l'artiste admirable, c'est franchement intéressant comme démarche et il faut oser (J'avais déjà vu cette prestation chez Taratata et elle avait mis une de ces ambiances!). N'est pas écossaise qui veut ;) C'est toujours réconfortant de voir qu'ils existent encore ce genre d'artistes, d'autant plus des femmes (je pense à Emilie Simon aussi forcément), qui ne se sentent pas obligées de montrer leurs fesses et chanter des stupidités affligeantes. Dans un sens, la chanson "Stupid Girl" de Pink qui passe en ce moment sur les ondes est la bienvenue...

Mon projet acoustique avance puisque j'ai composé un nouveau morceau aujourd'hui. J'ai écrit les paroles dans le même temps. Il y a avait longtemps que je n'avais pas fait ça. La musique de ce projet (il faut que je lui trouve un nom d'ailleurs) sera résolumment... "simple". Une sorte de pop désabusée si l'on veut. Et bonne nouvelle, je ferai presser l'album, avec livret et tout ce qui va avec, car j'ai trouvé un moyen de financement. J'aurai l'occasion d'en reparler bien sûr. Pour le moment, je continue de composer, je retravaille certains textes, je réfléchis à mes arrangements, j'attends de nouveaux instruments et je commence l'enregistrement dans très peu de temps.

Do you know this song? 18 minutes of emotionnal soundscapes. Atmospheric and chaotic... With the cello which gives you shivers. And the guitar that seems to cry... Alone... And the cello which reminds us of the beat of the heart. It goes faster and faster... You don't feel anymore. You live the sounds. You escape from here, below. And then, it stops. All in a sudden. And you wake up.

It seems that nothing really happened. It seems that it's just scattered memories. A page is being turned. But a blank page. But I remember everything, everyday, everytime. The sea shore, alone in the grey light, cold but happy. The Emerald Isle, walking on the road to some places unknown, feeling finally free. I can remember every smile, every sigh, every morning breath. The depth of the feeling for just one glance at me, finding out who I am. Was it shared? I will probably never know. But I still remember the days in the sun, the days in the rain, I see the mountains, the trees, the ocean, I smell the delicate perfume of those days. I remember the power of The Grudge, played loudly. Grudge, is this all what's left to me? I remember of the best days of my life somehow and then, I wake up again. The awakening hurts more than I could describe it. Everything breaks in a second as we are just a moment in time. I just think of misunderstood silences and insincere "I love you's", all in all, I feel all the broken promises more than everything else with this deep feeling, the feeling to have swallowed a razor blade and that's cutting me inside everyday a bit more. And I can't help it. I can't help it to enjoy how deep some scars are. And somehow, I feel that together we were strangers. Maybe I should have listened to the voices in my head. But who cares?

I can now see clearly the shape of "forever", now the lines have been crossed, so easily. I never thought it could be so easy to break through eternity and write a new chapter. Time is definately a subjective concept as I'm still trapped into those moments when "forever" sounds so true. I'm feeling as incomplete as ever, tasting the bitterness of a strong masquerade. I understand how we can finally think that love is a lie, from the begining to the end. I understand why some people build this anger against the other for having been betrayed that much. For having been consciously naïve, consciously blind because the sun can burn your eyes. I had secrets, and I sill have them, I didn't tell everything because I was not ready, time is subjective, and I had dreams. I gave my trust more than ever, thinking I was out of danger. I feel clearly the pressure of the blade of the knife in my back, going deeper and deeper, slowly. Who knows when someone has reached the point of no return? Who can say? I often think that I'm far beyond this point and then, I discover a brand new side of pain. Something that I didn't think of. What a joke...

Ce titre qui termine l'album Vegetal me touche beaucoup, je le trouve très intense émotionnellement mais c'est certainement pour des raisons qui me sont personnelles. Le fait est que je suis vraiment admiratif par tant de travail. J'ai lu qu'elle disait s'être enfermée dans son univers très tôt avec pour seul objectif de sortir son disque. Apprenant à droite à gauche, suivant différentes voies et en progressant doucement mais sûrement.
J'entretiens l'espoir d'aller la voir en concert au mois de mai, il y a une chance mais comme je ne peux pas vraiment compter sur ce concept et histoire d'éviter une énième déception, je préfère ne pas trop y penser. Mais son passage à Taratata et ce nouvel album me donnent vraiment envie de la voir en live, humainement.

Ulver is a really impressive band/project. My favourite band at the moment I would say because it's a lot of surprises and emotions, of different kinds. Impressive!

I have made a new gallery at this url, it's about some pictures taken in my home studio. It's not perfect at all but I like a bit those pictures ;)

Oh yes, I have tasted yesterday a new irish whiskey : A Bushmills (10 years old), a product of the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. A single malt with overtones of vanilla, honey and sherry, I found it really good and a bit less strong than the Knockando, which is older.

Yes, Spleen and Ideal, beyond the depth of this music, otherwordly more than heavenly I find, I feel that those words "Spleen and Ideal" are the perfect keywords for today... Or yesterday... And probably tomorrow.

I started to work at 5 am this morning until now and I'm going to work again in the beginning of the afternoon. It's becoming really hard. I wonder what hurts me the most between my heart and my body. Pain could become a new friend in a way, a good friend though. The one who ask nothing in return and like you for what and who you are.

I can burn out some memories, I can hide others, I can even forget some of them but how can I kill this feeling? How do you kill what is so deep? The more you deny it, the more it is strong, the more you hate it, the more you feel it, the more you stain it and the more it shines. I've always known it was true, it's funny how much it's even more true now I'm on my own. Life has a real talent in Irony.

Bonjour,

Un peu de français pour changer... J'ai reçu aujourd'hui mon appareil photo, un Canon Powershot A540, autant dire que je suis ravi même si je ne suis pas très doué dans ce domaine, il va me servir pour de multiples choses dont les vidéos ;) Il a l'air très complet et il semblerait que le mode "macro" soit intéressant, il faut que je me penche davantage dessus bien sûr. Sinon le mode vidéo est excellent car la luminosité est bonne même à l'intérieur, je vous mettrai une vidéo du Refuge ici dès que j'aurais réussi à convertir le .avi en .wma ;)

Emilie Simon... Je suis en train de devenir vraiment fan. Evidémment, sa musique peut paraître un peu trop sucré pour certains mais elle est plus profonde qu'il n'y paraît. Elle était à Taratata hier sur France 3 et franchement, il fallait la rendre live cette chanson "Fleur de Saison", belle présence vraiment! Je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de filmer un bout de son passage, cliquez ici pour voir la vidéo (19 mo). Enfin la grande classe, j'irai bien la voir en concert en septembre si j'en avais la possibilité...
D'ailleurs, on peut voir avec elle son fidèle acolyte, celui qui a les cheveux longs et un chapeau, la classe aussi d'ailleurs mais bref, c'est lui qui fabrique les différents instruments qu'utilise Mlle Simon. Et il a l'air très inspiré en live aussi ;)

Une triste nouvelle... Martin Lopez pourrait ne pas revenir dans Opeth. C'est l'époque où tout se fâne et meurt, je sais, mais quand même... Il est pour moi un des intérêts majeurs du groupe... Son jeu est particulier, brillant... J'espère vraiment qu'il va pouvoir revenir dans le groupe, n'hésitez pas à lui envoyer un mail pour l'encourager!

Je retourne à mes expériences visuelles...

What the news today? A really despairing week end is coming slowly and it already depress me. Anyway, I hope that I will take some photographs if I receive my digita camera.

Before I forget, I have finally decide to sell this really great and rare stompbox, it's to say the Marshall Shredmaster, famous because of Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead as seen as it's his main overdrive pedal. So don't hesitate to make me an offer, I don't have any idea of the pric at the moment. Click on the picture to see how it is. Perfect condition!
Acoustic project
I'm thinking about my music these days and there are three projects that I have to realize. When and how? That's the question but the one that could be possible at the moment is an acoustic project that I want to create. I've thought about it for a long time and I think it's time to come back to the roots, to feel and to not think. What will be the rules of this game? I will use only a few instruments, just some sounds and no other one. So, there will be voices, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, mellotron and cello (a real cello player I hope) and some percussion but that's all! So I'll be alone in this emotionnal travel but I would love to share some moment with other musicians of course. But it will be clearly intimist, really personnal and genuinely introspective as you guess. I have already three songs for that. But I would like to write new material because I have something to say.
In a gear point of view, it will be easier. It will sound more organic I mean. And I will just need to buy a good acoustic guitar (A Yamaha I think, a model that beats the cheapest Martin guitars. I don't want to make the mistake of buying an acoustic just for having this mythic name that is Martin). And a 88 note master keyboard for the piano feel. It would be great to have this professionnal AKG microphone but I think I can do without it at the moment. Oh yes, you understand that if you buy me this great Marshall Shredmaster, it will make things easier for me ;) "Money, it's a gas" as said the great Roger ;)
I'm really excited about this project because I feel more confident in it. I like the fact that it has to be "organic", acoustic, nearly natural, maybe I should record naked in the forest... Not the season yet. I suppose that those songs will be less "progressive" but I want them true above all and I guess it will a bit melancolic.

What else? Have I said that you should buy my Shredmaster? It's a collector! ;)

Bonjourno!

So I have just bought the limited edition of the last Emilie Simon's album. You may not know her. It's a french artist who does everything on her album, as it's written in the back of the booklet. It's far from what I'm listening these days but it's like a breath of oxygen as well. It's electronic... pop... intimist... poetic... Well I think that we love that or we hate it. Anyway, I find that it's really well done, nothing is left to random. It's probably one of my favourite french artist and it's a young woman that is also really important for me. The whole album is around flowers, a poetic and romantic way of talking about everything.

A good surprise was to find Guitar Player magazine and, what a surprise to find an article about Peter Hammill!! This fantastic artist. It's not in a french magazine that we'll see Peter Hammill, they are too busy of speaking about Placebo or Lacuna Coil, fucking hell!! (As said a good british friend of me).

I've been to a small tattoo studio to see what I could do and... It was really interesting indeed. I have to find more pictures to have a better idea of what I want but it will be a mix between celtic and tribal with curves and a soft shape, not an aggressive stuff I mean. People were really nice there. To be continued then...

I have just learnt about a horrible crime that occured near where I live. It's really scaring to see that movies and tv shows are really not far from reality. Reality is even more terrible.

It's about a man that have been found naked and screaming in the night. It happens the last week. This man, revealed like being completely schysophrenic, murdered a man in atrocious circumstances. He killed him by hitting him with a hammer in the head and then mutilated him (He cutted his toes and fingers and tore off his eyes). And like if it was not enough horrible, policemen found those organs in the belly of the victim. The less we can say is that gives shivers in the back.

All in all, there will never be anything worst than reality.

Silent Hill - Bathory - Sandisk - Tattoo

I'm still searching for news about Silent Hill movie (by the way, it's not in the theater yet, I was wrong) and I have seen some pictures, it seems to be really great! I really hope that it will be a good reflection of the games and those atmospheres.
By the way, I'm playing to the fourth episode right now and what I could say is it's really more scaring than the second one. It's great even if the concept of the room and nightmares/dreams is really strange.

I have ordered batteries and Sandisk 512Mb memory card for my future Canon (I hope to receive it this week tough).

At the moment, I travel though black and viking metal. With some bands that I have always wanted to know better. Here we ware for the classics like Bathory, Emperor, Immortal or Enslaved. I like with this last one the fact that their image is not necessarly based on the "satanic thing". I'm not really into that but I like the strenght that comes from those bands, and this atmosphere typically "nordist". Some of the albums that I listen to at the moment:
- Emperor "In The Nighside Eclipse"
- Bathory "Hammerheart"
- Immortal "At The Heart Of Winter"
- Enslaved "Below The Lights" (Probably my favourite! Is this mellotron that opens this album??)

Anyway, those bands offer a great soundtrack for those somber days and it's what I like the most ;)

Oh yes, I'm really into arm tattoo these days... And I have found what kind of drawings I would like, it was in my head and I found the reason, I saw it a lot of time, you may recognise him (Johan Langell from Pain Of Salvation)...

Drum recording - Paradise Lost

Hello!

Paradise Lost... It's crazy how this band can take your hatred away and turn it into energy. It's exactly what I feel, in particular with the song "Forever Failure", it's really great!!

Anyway, I have just recorded some drum parts today. The results? Three broken sticks and a broken crash cymbal. Well, it gives it a good sound somehow ;) But the good point is that I have finished with the drum recording of "Tears Are Made To Flow" and "A Kind Of Heaven", well I think so. It's hard to hear something after playing during some hours. Ears are bored very quickly so, you have to let your work for some hours or even days. But I think it was quite good. I will make listen those songs to some people (if you want to listen to them, just tell me).

So, at the moment, the three songs of the first EP are almost done. Vocals parts are not done at all but it's on the good way. I will need female voice though, but things have changed so... I have to think about it. Paula Cole if you read me, feel free to contact me :D

You know what? It's really not a good idea to listen to Perry Blake when you don't feel that good. This Irish artist lives in the west of Ireland, in a house lost in the forest. I have learnt that today but I was sure of this! I'm sure that some people are born to live in the forest and write broken love songs. Because we could sum up life to that when you found it once and it's gone, isn't it? When you met the one who pointed the finger on what we'd rather call a romantic masquerade.

Hello,

At the moment, I write a lot here and there, on paper, on my hands, on different blogging website (I don't even know which one I should definately chose, probably Blooger for different reasons). Anyway, it's hard to explain the whole thing. The sky is blue, the sun is bright, flowers beguin to appear, colors change, every smile is different but let a bittersweet taste in the mouth. Like those hollow glances. It reminds of the Pink Floyd's song "Goodbye Blue Sky".

I'm still really into the Steven Wilson's lyrics and work at the moment. And I listen a lot to Deadwing. I understand so much more the lyrics like "The Start Of Something Beautiful". How sad and beautiful it is! Through those words, we can understand the attitude of this artist who seems closed to himself, disillusioned. I understand and I can't wait to hear and read his next projects (A new Blackfield album for example).

Oh yes. For the french readers here, who are a few I guess, you may wonder why I write in english? Two reasons: There are obviously more english talks here, more foreign visitors, and the other point is that it's never useless to practise.

I'd like to see the Silent Hill movie that has just been released I confess. I didn't hear anything about it but I love the website, I love the atmosphere, the trailer, Pyramid Head, posters, and I'm playing to Silent Hill 4 at the moment ;)

Hello,

Somber days are always the chance to discover again some albums that deeply make me feel... Different.

Listening a lot to Remedy Lane from Pain Of Salvation, I forgot that I have already feld those kind of feelings.

The first Blackfield's album is another good example. I guess that Steven Wilson has not always felt good ;) In fact, mostly all of his lyrics are tainted of pain, and we can feel him desperately sad. The song that easily make me cry today is "Pain". I would love to play this song by the way. A good idea of cover.

En plus d'être un titre épique fabuleux, comme seul Dream Theater est capable d'en offrir, je trouve les paroles très réussis, on reconnaît assez bien l'écriture de chacun et surtout on se reconnaît très facilement à travers ces mots, ces images... Après son frère, c'est autour de Daniel Gildenlöw de Pain Of Salvation d'aller voir du côté de chez Mayones, une marque polonaise qui commence à faire pas mal d'émules. Sont donc prévus plusieurs modèles signature, sous des noms différents ("Earth", "Water", "Fire"...) et en quantitées limitées (sic). Je suis en tout cas curieux de voir ce que ça va donner et s'il utilisera toujours sa Parker...

Ca faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas écrit ici. Dernièrement, je travaillais sur l'enregistrement du titre Trample On Me, encore et toujours, ce titre me posant finalement pas mal de problèmes, plus difficile à enregistrer qu'un autre mais j'ai presque terminé. J'en suis à l'enregistrement des voix (il faut que je termine les paroles d'ailleurs).

J'ai reçu aujourd'hui le coffret M-Tron avec les trois cds de sons, le rêve :) M-Audio a visiblement racheté la marque Gmedia mais c'est toujours le même produit, dans un packaging différent. Il y a des sons de cuivres ou d'instruments à vent qui sonnent superbement macabre :)

Ah oui... J'ai presque terminé aussi la future version du site de Magmor, et oui, encore une. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je n'arrive pas à mettre la version actuelle à jour.

Et pour finir, même si j'en parlerai davantage le moment venu, je compte proposer sur le site les premiers enregistrements de Magmor, en attendant l'album qui devra encore attendre avant de voir le jour. On commencera donc avec un premier EP de 2/3 chansons (enfin parler en minutes serait plus judicieux, une vingtaine de minutes disons) qui sera disponible donc sur le site, au format cd-r mais dupliqué par des pros avec un artwork sur le cd, le tout proposé dans un boîtier dvd orné d'une carte postale.
Il sera disponible à l'unité bien sûr ou bien compris dans différents packs composés de divers produits à l'image de Magmor (voir photos).

Voilà pour les pojets en cours... Actuellement je me demande quels titres seront sur ce premier EP, "Trample On Me", ok, mais après? "A Kind Of Heaven"? Peut-être... Ou les 17 minutes de "The Meanders Of Your Mind"?

Behringer Chorus BCH100 et Overdrive BOD100

Bonjour,

On en aura parlé de ces nouvelles pédales Behringer... Ils ont encore fait très fort mine de rien, de la daube colorée pour certains, une bonne alternative pour d'autres, difficile de juger... Sans essayer...

J'ai eu la chance qu'on m'offre ces deux pédales pour mon anniversaire et j'en suis ravi, car si j'ai été assez déçu par la BDI, j'ai un tout autre avis sur ces pédales. Le chorus est impeccable, pas de souffle pour lui, il sait être discret ou plus extrême. L'overdrive est assez chaleureux, sans être très précis, on arrive néanmoins à trouver les sons que l'on cherche. Seul bemol, le fait que l'égalisation apporte beaucoup de souffle mais c'est assez inévitable.

Et puis, ça apporte de la couleur au pedalboard :D

Pour ma part, une très bonne alternative donc ;)

Bonjour,

Toujours à la recherche de l'acoustique idéale qui durerait dans le temps et que je ne regretterai pas au bout de quelques mois, je pense de plus en plus à Martin, marque ô combien réputée dans le domaine.

Il existe un modèle plus accessible, la Martin DM mais difficile de trouver des avis sur cette dernière, un saut à Paris s'impose pour pouvoir l'essayer. Plus chère, la D16GT semble aussi très intéressante.

La question est: Entre le bas de gamme d'une marque très réputée et le haut de gamme d'une marque moins réputée, que choisir? ;)

La neige s'est transformée en pluie, c'est un peu triste mais moins dangereux :)

Allez, rêvons en cette toute toute fin d'année, j'ai découvert de nouvelles guitares qu'il serait très intéressant d'essayer ;)

Dans le domaine des Strat d'abord, le modèle qu'utilise notamment Steve Rothery de Marillion, la Blade RH2 Standard, ce dernier dit avoir changé sa Squier pour Blade pour sa chaleur et son sustain plus important... Ces guitares ont très bonne réputation...

Dans un tout autre style, marque française Lag propose un modèle qui a l'air excellent, la Arkane Master 1000, tout est dit dans les caractéristiques:

La neige qui tombe et que l'on voit par la fenêtre, il n'y a pas à dire, ça met une petite ambiance ;)

L'enregistrement de Trample On Me a débuté sérieusement hier. Je voudrais commencer par les guitares rythmiques, et trouver le son qui me convient vraiment (ce que je n'avais jamais vraiment fait pour toutes mes démos). J'ai trouvé une combinaison pas mal avec ma Jstation et deux simus de HP différents, l'une étant un 4x12 Johnson et l'autre un 4x12 en Green Back.

Aujourd'hui j'ai également commencé les prises des sons de synthés atmosphériques. C'est ce qu'il y a de plus rapide et de plus simple finalement...

L'objectif est d'enregistrer la basse et le reste des guitares samedi et la batterie samedi/dimanche ;)

Mdf : DREAM THEATER Misunderstood

Bonjour tout le monde!

Petite nouveauté dans le Refuge, et oui, c'était Noël, un Lag Spitfire, préampli à lampes qui devrait être utilisé très prochainement pour l'enregistrement de Trample On Me (qui devrait commencer demain pour les guitares rythmiques). Pour l'instant, c'est pour les solos que je préfère ce préamp mais je dois l'utiliser davantage pour l'utiliser mieux. Un grand merci en tout cas à celle qui a pensé à moi ;)

Normalement donc, enregistrement des guitares rythmiques et de la basse cette semaine, et ce week-end, enregistrement de la batterie si les éléments sont avec moi...

Nouveau journal + dvd rush

Et voilà, nous sommes déjà en décembre, je ne sais pas ce que vous en pensez mais personnellement, je n'ai pas vu le mois de novembre passer, ni la fin de l'année arriver...

Comme vous pouvez le constater, le journal change de look en attendant la nouvelle version du site qui devrait arriver très bientôt, même si cette semaine ne sera pas vraiment dédié à ça, le plus gros a été fait ;)

Ce week-end, j'ai trouvé le dernier dvd de Rush "R30" et bien je vous le conseille vivement. Le son est meilleur que sur le dvd de Rio, l'ambiance paraît peut-être moins énorme vu que l'on entend moins le public (et c'est une bonne chose je trouve) mais le son en est du coup meilleur et, cerise sur le gâteau, le groupe joue mieux.
Les bonus sont moyens mais valent le détour ne serait-ce que pour "A Farewell To Kings" et "Xanadu", live et d'époque, le look, l'ambiance, la musique, le jeu des musiciens: du grand Art!

Pour bien commencer l'hiver, quoi de mieux qu'un nouveau site? ;) Je travaille actuellement sur une nouvelle version du site de Magmor qui correspond davantage à mon état d'esprit du moment... J'espère qu'il vous surprendra et vous plaira, il est loin d'être terminé mais ça avance grandement.

Si vous avez des suggestions, n'hésitez pas...

Parallèlement, je bosse également sur l'enregistrement de "Trample On Me" qui comment à ressembler à quelque chose. Le plus drôle? Je n'ai plus aucune baguette de batterie, j'ai réussi à casser les trois dernières que j'avais sur ce morceau... Rock'n'roll :D

Trample On Me et Myspace

Quoi de neuf en ce moment? Et bien je travaille sur un titre tout récent, une fois n'est pas coutume. Enfin tout récent, il date quand même de plus d'un an mais tout est relatif disons. Ce titre ne figurera a priori pas sur le premier album mais fera office de démo, disponible en entier ici et là. Le morceau est plutôt rock globalement, il fait près de 9 mn (ce qui reste un petit problème si je veux le soumettre à certaines radios web...) et est surtout très représentatif de Magmor je pense. Je dois encore écrire les paroles mais dans l'ensemble, le titre devrait être assez rapide à enregistrer. Ah oui, j'oubliais, ce titre s'appelle "Trample On Me" ;)

Pour le reste, vous pouez désormais retrouver Magmor sur le site MySpace à l'adresse suivante : http://www.myspace.com/magmor. C'est assez sympa de voir certains "comptes artistes" comme Dream Theater ou Spock's Beard ;)

Le week-end se termine et ce fût l'occasion d'avancer encore un peu dans les arrangements de différents morceaux, principalement Once Again She Has Won et A Mist Of Hope... Bonjour tout le monde,

Un peu de temps aujourd'hui et je travaille sur l'interlude de Once Again She Has Won et je cherche également toujours ces fameux sons de claviers atmosphériques...

J'ai mis en ligne un petit extrait de l'interlude en travaux, vous pouvez l'écouter en cliquant ici.

Je me dis de plus en plus que le travail de mixage va être énorme, vraiment intense pour que chaque instrument soit clairement audible. C'est passionnant comme domaine mais évidemment, ça prend un temps fou. A ce titre, encore une fois le nouvel album de Neal Morse est, je trouve, une réussite. La production est claire, chaque instrument est bien présent, il n'y a aucun "voile" sur l'ensemble...

Y'a du boulot ;)

Là j'écoute Dark Matter de IQ et faut dire aussi que niveau production, c'est pas mal non plus même si je suis moins fan du son de la batterie en général, mais les claviers, magnifiques!

Le week-end approche et ça va être l'occasion de mettre à plat un peu toutes les idées des morceaux qui composeront le premier album. Il ne manque plus grand chose d'un point de vue musicale, j'ai enregistré pas mal de démos de chaque chanson, les parties guitares sont à peu près toutes écrites, restent certains solo. Pour ce qui est des claviers, dans l'ensemble c'est aussi bien avancé même si je dois encore chercher des sons dans les passages plus atmosphériques. La basse sera certainement l'instrument le plus facile et rapide à enregistrer, c'est d'ailleurs le seul instrument dont je suis réellement content de la configuration, Baphomet directement dans le Joemeek VCQ1, ça sonne exactement comme je le voulais.

La batterie reste, avec les voix, l'élément qui demandera le plus de travail, tant dans le jeu que dans l'enregistrement en lui-même, même si le plus gros du travail a été fait ces dernières semaines (recherche des meilleurs emplacements micros, traitement acoustique, réglages des toms, choix des plugins d'effets, mixage).

Pour l'instant, je pense que l'album comportera ces titres :

The Root Of All Evil Part One - 10 mn
A Kind Of Heaven - 9 mn
More Than This - 5 mn
Once Again She Has Won - 10 mn
A Mist Of Hope - 12 mn

Pour un total de 46 minutes, un format plutôt serré, format vinyl si l'on veut et je crois que c'est une bonne chose. Je doute un peu de l'impact des albums qui sont "trop" remplis...

Je dois arranger encore certains textes mais dans l'ensemble, ils sont prêts. J'ai pratiquement entièrement réécrite The Root Of All Evil Part One, les paroles sont désormais beaucoup plus parlantes, du moins je l'espère ;)

C'est niveau matériel que je suis encore limité mais ça se précise très sérieusement. Comme vous l'aurez compris d'après mes précédentes entrées de journal, il me manque principalement une vraie guitare acoustique (qui sent bon le bois canadien), un ampli ou préamp, et une Stratocaster. J'aimerais également changer le micro chevalet de ma guitare actuelle pour un Seymour Duncan SH10...

On peut donc imaginer la réalisation de l'album pour 2006... Du moins je l'espère :D

Guitare acoustique - Norman ou Seagull

Norman ou Seagull, telle est la question. Deux marques canadiennes pas forcément les plus "tendances" mais pourtant particulièrement appréciées par ceux qui possèdent un des modèles d'une des deux marques.

Voici les spécificités du modèle Norman qui m'intéresse:

Caisse et éclisses merisier sauvage
Table cèdre massif
Finition : naturel satiné

Et celles du modèle Seagull:

Table en cèdre massif
Fond et éclisses merisier
Manche érable argenté
Finition : naturel satiné

Le merisier sauvage, c'est quoi finalement? Du merisier qui vit dans la jungle et vachement difficile à capturer? :D Sinon, pas grande différence entre les deux, même niveau prix... Reste à essayer... Les deux modèles ont très bonne réputation dans cette gamme de prix...

J'écoute le dernier album de Neal Morse, "?", et pour une fois, je trouve que c'est la seconde moitié de l'album qui est la plus intéressante (pour l'instant)...

Percussions... Forum... Jon Anderson...

Bonjour tout le monde,

Petit message quotidien... En ce moment, je suis très intéressant par de nouvelles sonorités, notamment en ce qui concerne les percussions. J'ai souvent imaginé mettre du bodhran (percussion irlandaise, voir photo de gauche) dans mes compos et je suis content de mon premier essai sur The Root Of All Evil... Aussi j'ai en tête également d'ajouter du derbouka (percussion arabe, voir photo de droite), et tout ce qui peut apporter un plus intéressant... Des sonorités plus rarement entendu...

D'ailleurs, je découvre en ce moment l'album solo de Jon Anderson de 1976, Olias Of Sunhillow et de ce point de vue, c'est une grande source d'inspiration... Beaucoup de percussions, d'instruments à cordes innattendus...

Encore un truc de plus à enregistrer :)

Sinon je voulais vous inviter à faire un petit tour sur le forum de Magmor et Progtheater, n'hésitez pas, on y parle de tout (qui a dit et de rien?)... C'est par ici...

Backstage Productions, le studio d'Andy Sneap

J'ai découvert il y a peu un studio absolument magnifique, d'un point de vue esthétique. Ca peut paraître un peu futile mais l'ambiance dans laquelle on enregistre et mixe est tellement importante pour la créativité et le bon déroulement des opérations qu'il ne faudrait pas l'omettre...

Il s'agit du studio de Andy Sneap (Producteur qui a travaillé notamment avec Opeth, Kreator, Nevermore... etc etc voir son site officiel), je vous laisse admirer l'espace avec ces quelques photos...

Oui c'est beau de rêver et dans ce cas précis, ça ne fait de mal à personne ;) Alors voilà quelques modèles de guitares qui me font rêver, ce ne sont pas nécessairement des modèles haut de gamme car je n'en suis pas là mais évidemment une PRS Custom 24 ne se refuse pas et ce serait certainement un de mes premiers choix si j'avais le budget... Allons-y...

Un grand classique, la Fender Stratocaster, simplement parce que c'est exactement le son que je recherche "le" son Strat, à l'image du son de David Gilmour par exemple ou encore Steve Rothery de Marillion (et ses arpèges magnifiques). Il existe beaucoup de modèle, à boire et à manger chez cette marque qui joue forcément sur sa renommée. Le premier prix américain est le modèle Highway, assez réussi paraît-il... Aussi la version Honey Blonde avec touche érable pour le manche est magnifique. Cela dit, Fame propose des copies qui ont l'air tout aussi intéressantes... La série "Classic"...

On reste dans le classique avec la Fender Telecaster, la première guitare électrique, ni plus ni moins, complémentaire par rapport à la Strat, elle a un son plus tranchant plus incisif (Steve Howe de Yes l'utilise à outrance sur l'album Relayer, magnifique!). Là encore, Fame propose des copies alternatives... Là encore la série Highway semble être un bon choix, finition Artic White et touche érable bien sûr ;)

Après niveau guitare orientée plus "heavy", le choix me semble plus difficile... Il y a bien Jackson que je préfère à Ibanez (toujours par rapport à ce que j'ai pu essayer), il y a un modèle qui me fascine mais que je n'ai encore jamais croisé, c'est la Lag Arkane Prestige. Cliquez pour voir les caractéristiques, ça a l'air d'être un très bon modèle avec le prix qui va avec...

Voilà pour l'électrique... En ce qui concerne l'acoustique, j'aimerais beaucoup pouvoir goûter à Martin, forcément, comme beaucoup... Avec le modèle Martin 00016GT par exemple... Mais dans un premier temps, commencer avec une Norman B18 serait déjà une première étape bien sympathique. J'ai essayé des modèles chez Art Et Lutherie, marque qui me tentait beaucoup mais je n'ai pas du tout été attiré par leurs sons, du moins dans la gamme de prix que je cherchais...

Personnellement, ces quelques modèles me font rêver et pourtant, ce ne sont pas forcément des modèles très réputés ou très en vogue mais c'est pour chaque modèle le son précis que je recherche...

Depuis quelques jours, je travaille sur les arrangements de ce vieux titre. Les claviers devront être assez présents afin de produire un univers un peu "spatial"... J'attends avec impatience une nouvelle guitare acoustique car je m'aperçois qu'elle manque cruellement sur la plupart des morceaux qui ont d'ailleurs été composé sur une acoustique pour la plupart, ceci explique cela ;)

C'est encore très imparfait mais ça donne une idée de l'ensemble. Tout est joué live dans mon refuge, guitare, basse, claviers, batterie, percussion comme le bodhran et voix bien sûr...

Quête parchemée d'embuches et pleine de surprises, la recherche du son ultime n'est pas chose facile. Ainsi je suis à la recherche d'un préamp ou d'un ampli à lampes suivant les opportunités, mon choix n'étant disons par encore vraiment fait même si je me suis déjà arrêté sur l'ampli Laney VC30, la tête Laney GH50L et le préampli Lag Spitfire.

Si jamais vous vous séparez d'un de ces modèles ou que vous connaissez quelqu'un dans ce cas, n'hésitez pas à me prévenir ;)

Basse Fame Baphomet IV Edition limitée 2004

Et bien voilà, après plusieurs mois de recherches intensives dans le domaine, ma dernière acquisition, la Fame Baphomet IV édition limitée. Reçue hier en un temps record (service de Musicstore impeccable), ce modèle "fait-main" vient de Pologne donc (sous-traitance de Mayones d'après ce qu'on dit). C'est une édition limitée donc car le corps est en frêne et le modèle possède une table en érable flamée. Globalement, les Baphomet copient les fameuses Warwick (Corvette Standard), mais honnêtement, je préfère le look de ces Fame.

Voici donc les caractéristiques :
- Corps deux pièces en frêne avec table en érable flammé de couleur rouge
- Mécaniques étagées
- Incrustation 2004 sur la 12 ème touche
- Finition lacquée de haute qualité
- Manche en érable 3 pièces avec des couches en
acajou
- Touche en Wenge
- Sillet en ébène
- Fixé en 6 points
- attaches courroie de sécurité
- Micros actifs MEC-J/J
- Accastillage noir

Premières impressions : Manche très agréable, beaucoup de sustain et micros très silencieux, la finition générale est impeccable.

Maintenant, niveau branchement, il faut que je fasse plus de test, en direct dans ma Jstation, ce n'est pas terrible, je n'ai jamais été convaincu par cette dernière pour la basse... Donc, je pense plutôt utiliser mon Joemeek très solicité (Voix, batterie, guitare acoustique...)...

Tracklist du premier album

Et oui, quand il ne s'agit pas d'enregistrer, de mixer, d'écrire, de dénicher de nouvelles infos sur l'enregistrement de tel ou tel instrument, il faut penser à l'aspect formel d'un album, notamment la tracklist. Je ne sais pas ce que vous en pensez mais c'est une étape que l'on peut complètement négliger, en choisissant les morceaux un peu au hasard, ou au contraire, une étape qui peut devenir très intéressante si on commence à trouver un sens à la place de chaque morceau. D'autant plus quand il s'agit de choisir parmis de nombreaux morceaux.

Question à qui aura la gentillesse de répondre, pensez-vous que la cohérence d'un album en terme de style est importante? Ou au contraire, pensez-vous que l'on puisse tout se permettre? Comme Lucassen par exemple sur le dernier album The Human Equation?

Personnellement, j'aimerais trouver une certaine homogénéité, je ne suis pas certain que les titres les plus metal de mon projet (tout est relatif bien sûr) cohabitent bien avec mes autres morceaux, qui sont, pour la plupart, "simplement" rock...

Si vous avez un avis sur la question, n'hésitez pas ;)

PS : La courant rock progressif italien des 70's est absolument sublime!

Comme quoi ce blog peut servir à quelque chose, je me sens tout perdu sans le forum... Que s'est-il passé? Bonne question, ça partait d'un bon sentiment, je voulais changer d'offre de serveur, passer de 60 mo à 300, ce que j'ai fais, mais je ne pensais pas que ça mettrait un tel bins dans la base de données.

La très bonne nouvelle c'est que l'ancienne base de données avec tous nos messages est intacte. Je dois juste trouver le moyen de réinstaller le forum et d'y utiliser cette base en question. Et j'y tiens vraiment.

Désolé pour ça...

Au passage, j'écoute Songs From The Wood de Jethro Tull et c'est assez dépaysant, ça me rappelle l'Irlande. On a l'impression que Ian Anderson a composé ses chansons dans les bois... D'où le titre de l'album peut-être en même temps :)
